I have been a Realtor since 2001, and I grew up in Stillwater, where I also raised my three daughters. I know Payne County inside and out. Before real estate, I worked as an RN for many years and have always been deeply involved in volunteer work. My nursing background has been invaluable in my real estate career, as it has strengthened my ability to listen attentively and provide anticipatory guidance to meet the needs of both sellers and buyers.
With every transaction, I learn something new, and over the years I have closed hundreds of sales. One of the most rewarding aspects of my career has been helping countless families sell their parents' homes. Whether it's guiding them through the complexities of the sale or providing support during emotionally challenging times, I am honored to be part of their journey. I help families navigate these transitions with care, offering both practical advice and emotional support along the way.
I also help sellers price their homes realistically and get them market-ready, this often involves working with aging parents and their children who are often tasked with all the responsibility. I use a combination of delegation, strategic systems, cutting-edge technology, and good old-fashioned hard work to repair, over-haul, clean out and market "Mama's" house effectively.
I believe in continuous education to better serve my clients, as real estate is an ever-evolving profession. Working with the aged in our community, and across the country, has given me years of experience in the complexities of, literally, selling Mama's property. I have a full understanding of the emotion (and sometimes drama) involved. Additionally, through my CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation - held by only the top 4% of Realtors nationwide - I have gained valuable tools and insights in this market. I was honored to be named Oklahoma CRS of the Year in 2009 and served as the state CRS chapter president in 2007.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is meeting and helping new people as they navigate the challenges of buying or selling a home. Real estate is never a one-size-fits-all business, and this is never more true than in a situation of selling a loved-one's real estate.
